Here’s how we like to put it:

EXPOSITIONAL PREACHING is one of our core values

Biblical exposition is the setting forth of the meaning and purpose of God’s Word as truth as it applies to our faith and lives. We are convinced that our deepest joy intersects with our clearest understanding of what God has said to be true about who He is, what He has done for us, and how He calls us to live through the pages of Scripture. Therefore, we are committed to the accurate exposition and application of the whole counsel of God as biblical truth in our lives, and we make it our normative practice to preach verse-by-verse through books of the Bible.

God’s Word is necessary for spiritual life. Our faith, doctrine, and practice at Trinity Church is informed and shaped by the words of Scripture first, and secondarily by the creeds of the church throughout history. So, the Word is always open at Trinity Church, whether it be in sermons, housechurches, elder meetings, team meetings, children and student ministry, or one-on-one discipleship.
